" From this union of urchin-like cheekiness, seductive honesty and unfathomable sensitivity, Ulrica Hydma-Vallien in her art has given form to some of our most profound needs. ABOUT THE WEBSITE

In the begining, she was a little suspicious about me. Me, a 22 year old idolizing Bertil Vallien and with far gone ambitions to study at Konstfack, should paint glass. Snakes, eyes and other animals created by a woman with fake red-hair and intense eyes. "Shall he paint glass? He´s into Bertil´s stuff!" But it didn´t took to long for her to realise that my intentions on glasspainting was serious.
